Honda By CPTN 

CPTN Apparel Company was founded in 2011 by Southern California native Adam Cooke. The company was created with the intention of designing apparel that he was not seeing in the market. After focusing a few years on designing for retailers specifically the company moved to brands and then licensing. In 2017 we acquired the license for Honda Powersports which more recently included Honda Auto. The relationship between Honda America and CPTN Apparel has been a great dynamic of a monster of a corporate icon and a small California based apparel company that is best at reimagining corporate icons and celebrating the heritage that we know a company like Honda has been for decades. 

Cooke explains what Honda means to culture; “After being in the business for over 20 years and growing up in and around action sports and music in Southern California, I have been able to see trends come and go and also able to pinpoint the trends that meant the most to a particular community and style as a whole. We have designed clothing and graphics years ago that we just thought were cool, things we used to have to shop for at thrift stores and couldn't find anywhere else. These are the pieces i've always wanted to make, things that feel hard to find. It feels great to bring back a certain style that feels forgotten and cool while staying within the dna and heritage of a brand. Honda gave us the perfect opportunity to execute this mission. I grew up in the Inland Empire around some of the most famous motocross and FMX greats of the industry, while also having friends that were heavy into tuner cars and racing in general. Its an important part of the SoCal and American lifestyle, its what the cool kids are into. I’m very proud to be able to have a opportunity to bring the these cultures what they need to represent their favorite personal style, hobbies and culture of their favorite brand of cars and motorcycles”
